Holiday Activities in the Children's Activity Area

We'll be having crafts for children in the Children's Activity Room on Monday, December 19, at 4 pm.  Toddler Time will be Tuesday, December 20 at 10:00 am, and Thursday, December 22, at 10:00 am.  Preschool Story Time will be Tuesday at 10:30 am and 2:20 pm. On Thursday, December 22, at 2 pm, there will be a kids movie.  We will be closed on Wednesday, and will close early on Thursday at 5 pm  and reopen on Tuesday December 27 at 10 am.

Kingwood Area Republican Women's Generous Gift

Every year the Kingwood Area Republican Women select a number of titles from the Mamie Eisenhower Literacy Project to donate to the Kingwood Library.  On November 30, members of the KARW presented their donation to Christi Whittington, Branch Librarian, who accepted their gift on behalf of the library.  Thanks to KARW for their generosity and support!

Wintery Time in the Children's Area

 School age kids come and make a "Reindeer Pop"  and frosting trees for Marvelous Mondays Craft on Monday, December 12, at 4 pm.  On Thursday, December 15, it's the pre-school kids turn at 10:30 am and 2:20 pm, for a gingerbread man craft.  All supples are provided.  At 4 pm that same day, come and make "Snowman Soup".  Yum!

Free Holiday Craft!

Come one, come all to participate in a Holiday Greeting Card craft! 

Through the month of December, craft supplies will  be on hand in our Teen ("YA") Room for a free holiday craft. Just stop in any Monday through Friday between 2 pm - 5 pm to create up to two holiday greeting cards. Make a third card to donate to a local home for the elderly. All ages are welcome!
