Monarch Butterfly Craft

Monarch butterflies will be migrating soon, and the school aged children will make some butterflies for Marvelous Monday Craft on Monday, October 3, at 4 pm.

We have started a new story time on Tuesday afternoons  at 4:30 called "Family Story Time."

Thrilling Thursday at 4 pm will be ZumbAtomic, which is movement and music with a Latin beat for kids.

Skin Care for the Drought Weary!

makeupHas your skin taken a beating during this unending dry weather?  Come join us on Thursday, September 29 for a refresher on skin care and the latest in make-up tips!  This free program, presented by Louisa Oeding, will be held in the library's meeting room at 10:30 am.

Marvelous Monday Fall Craft Celebrates Johnny Appleseed

To celebrate Johnny Appleseed's birthday,  September 26, 1774, we will be making an apple craft during Marvelous Monday craft time.  School-age kids please join us at 4 pm in the Children's Activity Room. 

New Storytime!

  On Tuesday, 9/ 20, at 4:30 pm in the Children's Activity Room, there will be a new Family Storytime.  Please come and meet our new Head of Children' s Services, Rose Sonnier.

 To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, school age kids, on Monday, 9/19, at 4 pm  will make  an after- school craft of cut paper banners called papel picado.  For Pre-School Craft, 9/22, at 10:30 am and 2:20 pm, we will make maracas to shake with Spanish music..  Dragoneers will  meet at 4 pm, for a craft and snack to celebrate too !
