High-Ho! High-Ho! It's Off to Work We Go!

Everyone knows the job search process is overwhelming in today's economy.  We are here to help!  Starting this Monday, September 14 at 10 AM, we are proud to once again team up with Workforce Solutions to provide a seven week series for job seekers at all levels.  Topics in this series include resumes, networking, interviewing, and more!  We'll begin by pumping up our resumes.  Come to just one of these classes or all of them.

These classes will fill up quickly so register today to join us for these classes.

Room Posters

"Your very own room poster" was the computer project in this week's teen time.  Kids learned to use Microsoft Publisher, clipart, Wordart and photos to create a poster for their room.   The designs vary but the message is the same -- MY room!  For another look at what the kids are doing in Teen Time click here.

Afternoon Art This Wednesday!

Kids, celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by coming to our program for school-aged children this Wednesday, September 9, at 4:30 pm. We’ll be making papel picado (cut paper art) as inspired by the book Making Magic Windows by Carmen Lomas Garza. See you there!

Finger Dancing

Is there a new computer in your horizon? Prepare for it at your local library. We are proud to announce a new beginning computer class series. We continue our series next Tuesday, September 8 at 7 PM as we teach our fingers to dance across the keyboard. Learn proper finger positions and what those extra keys do.

Many of our computer classes fill up quick so register today to join us for this class.
