So Mysterious!

Did you know that the Maud Marks Library has added a NEW book club for the summer.  Our mystery book club will be meeting on Monday, July 18 at 2 PM.  We will be discussing Grave Goods the third in the Mistress in the Art of Death series by Ariana Franklin.  Everyone is invited to join us for a discussion of this facinating and fun book.  There are extra copies behind the customer service desk.  And don't worry, you have plenty of time to read the book.  It's a really fast read!  Then, don't forget to join us again on August 8 as we discuss Dog On It by Spencer Quinn.

Attention Teens!

Don’t forget to register for the Summer Reading Program; it’s easy to register and track your books.  At the Maud Marks Branch we’re holding a drawing at the end of the summer for three $25 movie gift cards!  Be sure to register and log your books before August 6.  A special thanks goes to The Friends of the Maud Marks Library for donating the gift cards!

The Summer Reading Desk is Open for Business

Max, and other Maud Marks volunteers are hoping you keep them busy this summer with your reading progress. Remember, you still have another month to record and claim your certificate and free book. If you have already done so, keep reading and recording.  Max wants to put your name on the wall. Ribbons are rewarded after you complete 50 books or 500 pages/minutes.

Don't Forget!

Don't forget, the Maud Marks Library will be closed on Monday for the 4th of July holiday.  Don't worry though, just because the building is closed doesn't mean the library is!  Do you need to renew a book or pay a fine?  Click here to go to our online catalog!  Do you need a book?  Find one in our digital media catalog!  Do you need a magazine article or to fix your car?  Check out our databases.  Want a book suggestion?  Read one of our book blogs.&nbs
