"Ask-A-Lawyer" Program

lawyerOur popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, March 8th from 11 am - 12:30 pm in our Meeting Room.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. Johnson, Attorney at Law.  Ms. Johnson will be answering legal questions and addressing issues that are important to the community.  Please join us for a chance for some free legal guidance.

Election Day for Primary Voting - March 4th

Tuesday, March 4th, is Primary Election Day from 7 am to 7 pm. For this particular Election, there will be no voting at the North Channel Library. Precinct 0460 voters who normally would vote at the North Channel Library will be voting at two separate locations, depending on your political party affiliation. Democrats will vote at: Tice Elementary School - 14120 Wallisville Rd., Houston, TX 77049. Republicans will vote at: Sheldon Elementary School - 17203 Hall Shepperd Rd., Houston TX 77049. Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration

We'll be celebrating Theodore Geisel's birthday this Monday with a story, photo booth action, activities and tasty treats!  The fun starts at 4:30pm on March 3 in the Children's Area so don't be late! Train To Be An ESL Tutor @ North Channel Library

tutor training Have you ever thought about becoming an ESL Tutor?  The North Channel Library will host an ESL Tutor Training on Saturday, March 29th from 10am to 3:30pm.  You can volunteer to tutor at any branch library and all materials are provided.  Please register for this training by calling the library at 281-457-1631 and help someone reach their goals.
