Spooky Tales and Urban Legends

GhostFeeling brave?  Want to hear a horrifically good story?  Come down to the North Channel Library, Wednesday, July 11 at 2:30 pm.  Mrs. Bates, a professional storyteller, will sit down in the Children's Area to share her bone-chilling tales and terrifying urban legends

You may also pick up tickets for next week's Children's Program.

Library Closed for 4th of July

fireworksThe library will be closed this Wednesday, July 4th, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  So don't forget to come in early this week to get your reading materials!  We've got a new display featuring books that are filled with all kinds of family activities to do this Independence Day (and the rest of the summer too, come to think of it).

Teen- Terrarium Craft

Soda Bottle TerrariumHey, Teens!  Always dreamed of ruling the world? Do you just have a green thumb? Visit the North Channel Branch Library for the chance to dig in and get your hands dirty by creating a terrarium, a miniature world of your very own.  

Join us at 4 pm, July 3 in the meeting room to create a terrarium.

Science Quest @ the Library

Mr. Bartell, a veteran scientist, will make science come alive with dazzling experiments when we visits the North Channel Library on Wednesday, June 20th at 2:30 pm.  Join us!
