Train To Become An ESL Tutor @ North Channel Library

tutorHave you ever thought about becoming an ESL Tutor?  The North Channel Library will host an ESL Tutor Training on Saturday, March 29th from 10am to 3:30pm.  You can volunteer to tutor at any branch library and all materials are provided.  Please register for this training by calling the library at 281-457-1631 and help someone reach their goals.

Calling all Lego loving kids! This Thursday, March 13 @ 2:30 pm come to the library and play Life of George with Lego Blocks.  Build and scan your project for a score or play for fun.  Free play with blocks for younger children.  Groups please call.

Strings Attached- March Challenge

February Charity ChallengeThe Strings Attached group at North Channel issued a challenge to interested people to make knitted or crocheted hats for babies in local NICUs during January and February.  Members answered with an astounding 230 hats.  These hats will be delivered to local hospitals in March.  Thank you for all the wonderful creations!

"Ask-A-Lawyer" Program

lawyerOur popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, March 8th from 11 am - 12:30 pm in our Meeting Room.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. Johnson, Attorney at Law.  Ms. Johnson will be answering legal questions and addressing issues that are important to the community.  Please join us for a chance for some free legal guidance.
