Teen Volunteers Still Needed After Summer

Teen Volunteers

Although the summer is almost over, we still desperately need help from our teen volunteers. If you need hours to fulfill graduation requirements, come to new volunteer orientation on the first Thursday of every month at 4:15 PM.

Big Changes Coming to Movie Night

Moviegoers

Beginning in September movies will be shown on Monday nights only. We will show either a teen film or a family film, ratings will be included on the posters hanging around the library. Also, to accommodate our school-aged patrons, we are moving the show time from 4 to 4:15 PM. We hope to see you all there.

The Bookless Wonders (A Reinvention of the Modern Book Club) : The Few, The Proud, The Bookless.

Owl

Do you love the IDEA of a book club, but hate the restrictions of having to read a certain book by a certain time and, then, participate in a limited conversation of JUST one book a month? Well... there are others just like you! The patrons of Northwest Library have come up with a great idea; the bookless book club. We are going to try it out and see if it flies. Folks will be meeting every 2nd Monday at 2:00 PM to discuss books/life/interests and any other thing we feel like! So yes, we are a bookless book club, but we are bibliophiles that enjoy the company of other bibliophiles!
