Teens: Celebrate the Holidays With a Movie and Treats

School's out! Time for a party! On Thursday, December 19th starting at 4pm, drop by for cookies, hot cocoa, and a movie. Would you like to have a nightmare before Christmas? How about following the adventures of a misfit Elf as he searches for his family in New York City? Just be careful, you might shoot your eye out. 

The Polar Express Adventure Continues

As a child, my grandfather always set up his vintage model train at Christmas. At that time, toy trains were often thought of as "toys for boys," but luckily my grandfather did not buy into that nonsense. He knew, that in my eyes, his single Lionel "toy" train was truly a thing of beauty, and I looked forward to seeing it every year. I know that there are a lot of people, young and old alike, who still enjoy trains.

Teens and Tweens: Deck the Halls with Nerdflakes

Deck the halls with fandom snowflakes! Create your very own Nerdflakes on Thursday, December 12th at 4:30pm. In addition to paper snowflakes, we will also create acrylic one based on Homestuck, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, random anime, and other fandoms. 

Puppet Show for Children

Pre-school children (3 - 6 years old) and their families are invited to see a special edition of Story Pals Storytime. Please be aware that space is limited. Check out a few of the books below to extend your child's experience.  I have included both traditional renditions of The Gingerbread Man, as well as, some really fun fractured fairytales
