Book Sale at the Library

Plan to stop by the West University Library this Saturday, November 3, from 10 AM to 2 PM for the Fall Book Sale.  We have a wonderful selection of children's and adult books.  Whatever you're looking for - cookbooks, history, fitness, current fiction - you'll find it at the Friends of the West University Library Fall Book Sale.

Prices range from $ .35 for paperbacks to $1 plus for hardback books.  See you there !

Halloween craft program for children

Next Wednesday, October 24, at 3:15 PM children will have the opportunity to create their own paper plate mask.  Using their imaginations, children can glue a variety of ears, noses, eyebrows or other features to paper plates and create a unique mask.  The program will appeal to children ages 4 to 11 years.  The Library provides all supplies - you bring your imagination.

Salsa Workshop

       Friday September 28 at 4 PM,  Dance Houston will present an introduction to salsa.  Learn the fundamentals of salsa dancing.   It's fun for all ages.    Space is limited to 30 people.  Free tickets will be handed out before the workshop on a first-come first-served basis.
