The demonstration will be this Saturday (5/17/14) ,starting at 1pm in the meeting room.

Wargaming World War II

Saturday, May 10th, 11:00 a.m.

WW II

If you still enjoy the tactile pleasure of tabletop wargaming, in which you actually manipulate miniature figures across landscapes, with movements based on the roll of the dice, join Brian Weathersby on Saturday, May 10th and take part in playing out a World War II scenario.

This style of war gaming was first brought to the general public's attention by H. G. Wells over 100 years ago in his popular book Little Wars, and is still being enjoyed by adults as well as kids today, along with the more modern computer based versions.
