Get into the holiday spirit with HCPL! Harris County Public Libraries will have holiday programs throughout the month of December. We have programs for all ages and with a variety of themes. Harris County Homeowner Disaster Recovery Program

The Harris County Homeowner Disaster Recovery Program (HDRP) is a voluntary program to assist homeowners who reside in Harris County but outside the City of Houston, whose homes were affected by Hurricane Ike by providing financial assistance to repair damage and when necessary reconstruct home.

UNVEILING CEREMONY IN SEABROOK ON TUESDAY!

The plans for the new Evelyn Meador Branch Library, created by English & Associates of Houston will be unveiled this coming Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Seabrook on the site of the old facility. A reception, hosted by the Friends of Evelyn Meador, will follow at the Seabrook Community House at 1210 Anders. Included in the line up of guest speakers is Lynn Meador Edmundson, daughter of Evelyn Meador, who donated the land for the original building which first opened in June of 1988.
