Not-So-Spooky Bat Craft on Monday, October 17 at 2:30 pm

 Are you looking for something fun to do this Monday afternoon with the children?  If so, join us for a festive bat craft program at 2:30 pm.  We'll be making not-so-spooky bats from toilet paper rolls.  We'll also have a tasty snack and fun coloring sheets .  This program is recommended for children preschool age through grade school.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available from the Kids Information Desk starting thirty minutes before the program.  For questions, call us at Freeman Library at 281-488-1906.

Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library under50over Program and the Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs (CLASP) of University of Houston-Clear Lake invite you to join us on Fridays, October 14th and 21st at 10:30 am in the Marge Jacobson Community Room to learn how to make memoirs from your memories. Dion McInnis, Associate Vice President for University Advancement at UHCL is the speaker for this program series.

Don't Miss the Digital Bookmobile!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library looks forward to the Friday, October 28th visit of the Digital Bookmobile. This is a hands-on approach which helps library members with eBooks, eAudio, and portable reading devices. The Digital Bookmobile will be parked on the Diana Lane side of the library from 10 AM to 2 PM. Snacks are made pos`sible by the Friends of Freeman Library and the JSC Federal Credit Union.

Victor Rocha and the Nueva Luna Dance Academy @ your library

Please join us at the Clear Lake City - County Freeman Library as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. On Thursday, October 6th at 6:30 pm, Victor Rocha and the Nueva Luna Dance Academy will dance their way through the states of Mexico. This presentation will begin in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. It will be fun for the entire family.
