June Adult Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library offers a new project for its “Crafts- to-Go!” program in conjunction with the Summer Reading Program.  This June, we're making a ”fishy scratch art” (as seen on the right.) The project can be made anywhere. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library, while supplies last.

Marsha's Petting Zoo and Cool Treats coming to Freeman on Tuesday, June 5

Join us this Tuesday, June 5 from 2:30-4:30 pm for the return of Marsha's Petting Zoo.  It has become a tradition at Freeman Library to have Marsha's Petting Zoo at the kick-off of our afternoon SRP events in the Children's Department.  We'll have llamas, goats, chicks, deer, piglets  and other fun animals to pet.  No tickets are required for this program.  Just line up along the front  porch and we'll take you through in groups of about 15-20.
