Effective June 1, 2013, Harris County Public Library’s Kingwood Branch will expand its hours of operation from five to six days a week offering you more opportunities to browse the library’s continually refreshed collection of books, movies, music and journals, in addition to making it easier for you to take advantage of a wide range of library services.
Workforce Solutions will be hosting a seminar aimed at teens titled "Landing Your First Job" at the Kingwood Branch Library in the Training Lab. This seminar will take place on both Saturday, May 18th and Saturday, May 25th at 10 a.m. This seminar is free of charge and will focus on applying for jobs, interviewing skills, and resumes. All skills and tips that can be applied to both jobs and colleges. For more information, call Leanne, YA Librarian for more information at 281-360-6804.
Kids come try out some yoga with "Melissa" Monday, May 13, at 4 pm. Miss Rose will set up tables for a craft at the front of the Children's Area.
Unfortunately our Houston Sightseeing for Families program has to be rescheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will let you know as soon as we set the date.
Miss Connie has another great craft for the Dragoneers, Thursday, May 9, at 4 pm. They will be discussing books and having a snack.
