The Children's Department is "officially" kicking off this year's Summer Reading Program,
Via our partnership with the Lone Star College System and its partnerships with The Academy and Target Hunger, the LSC-Tomball Community Library is collecting canned and non-perishable foods through the first half of June. Many area residents rely on nutritional assistance from organizations like Target Hunger. Through the summer the need is greater because more than 20% of school children go without the free or reduced priced breakfasts and lunches available at school. Help us help our community’s hungry. You can put your donated items into the collection barrels by the library elevators and in the Children’s Department. Thanks for anything you can do.
