If you haven't stopped by our story time recently, make sure that you do! Last week for our craft we made our own stories. We used foam stickers, and the children came up with some pretty complex stories.
Storytelling is an art form, and the kids at Baldwin Boettcher have shown they are young little masters of the art form! Maggie had fun hearing the stories (which at times were rather dramatic). She also enjoyed watching the children share their stories with one another while displaying early literacy skills such as "reading" left to right and attempting to rhyme. Some children even sang their stories in honor of our featured story, "Pete the Cat." Every week at preschool story time and family story time we make a craft. We hope that you will join us soon!
