We move a lot of books.
I thought you might be interested to know that 433,711 books, DVDs, and CD audiobooks have been checked out of LSC-Tomball Community Library branch since March 1st, the beginning of our fiscal year. That's our part in over seven million total checkouts across the county in that time. We move a lot of books!
We have also checked out an impressive number of electronic books. Since March 1st, 328,558 Adult and Young Adult electronic books [2] and e-audiobooks have checked out across Harris County Public Library's reach, plus 80,483 children's TumbleBooks [2] electronic books, for an eBook total of 298,799. This summer we added a collection of electronic audio books called OneClickdigital [2]and already there are just under 5,000 checkouts from that catalog.
