The winners of the John Newbery [2] and Randolph Caldecott [3] Medals were announced this morning in Seattle, giving us a total of ten more books to add to our "to read" list!
The Newbery Medal [2] is "awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children."
