We have recently placed the new 2013 - 2014 Bluebonnet nominees [2]on display in the Children's area. These items are often included in required reading lists and are recommended for grades 3-6. Each year children throughout Texas get to vote of their favorite book.
If your child is looking for something else to read, the Texas Bluebonnet Award Winners [3] list is a great place to start. As I have stated before, these items have been chosen by children, so typically everyone likes them.
If you would like to check out books that were previous nominees [4], but need assistance finding these items in the catalog, you may request help from any staff member at the library.
