Hispanic Heritage Month runs September 15 – October 15, and we have several programs planned here at Baldwin Boettcher.
On Tuesday, September 29, at 5:00 PM, all ages will indulge in hot chocolate and sweet bread for our version of “La Merienda,” as young people try their hand at a tissue flower craft. Then on Tuesday, October 13, at 5:00 PM, adults are invited to a cooking demonstration and sampling of latina cuisine. And on Friday, October 16, we are fortunate to have Houston Grand Opera-to-Go here to present “How Nanita Learned to Make Flan,” for elementary and middle school aged children.
Habla espanol? If you do, then you should know we are starting a Spanish-language book club on Thursday, October 22, at 6:00 PM, and our first book will be Cuentos De Eva Luna [2]by Isabel Allende.
For more information on any of these programs, check out our branch calendar or call us at 281-821-1320.
