This year’s selection for the Books on the Bayou is Their Eyes Were Watching God [1]by Zora Neale Hurston. The Books on the Bayou is a community-wide effort designed to encourage reading of the same book at the same time and is meant to inspire reading and thoughtful discussion among Houstonians. On Wednesday, October 21 from 1 - 2 PM, our branch will be having a small group discussion of the book led by one of the Lone Star College - Tomball staff.
