Baseball season is coming to an end. This is sad but true. And, as an Astros fan I am left with regrets, wondering what might have been if maybe the Astros had gotten one more pitcher or if one game had gone differently. Further, I am left to reminisce about the wonderful seasons of 2004 and 2005 when I got to watch the Astros win their first playoff series and go to their first World Series. [1]
I guess that I will have to satisfy my postseason cravings by reliving the Astros glory days through the book “Houston Astros: Armed and Dangerous [2]”. This book relives all the events of the 2004 and 2005 Astros seasons. The book goes almost day by day through both of the seasons and the post season. Since I enjoy remembering the happy times, the book is a great way to survive the Astros-less playoffs by reliving the team's glory days and allowing me the chance to dream about glory days yet to come.
