As a writer, Alan Moore introduced many to a philosophical questioning of our surroundings and forced even the fair-minded to realize just how ramshackled our perceptions of society really are. Well known for his work in V for Vendetta [2], The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [3], and Watchmen [4], Moore drew his audience with his eloquent manner of expressing himself.
After reading Watchmen myself, I was entranced to read more of his work. The latest of his graphic novels which I have read was The Killing Joke [5], the story of how an incredibly bad day transformed an innocent man into the insane supervillain known as the Joker. If you are finding yourself with a bit of extra time and are looking for entertaining graphic novels to read, then I suggest you seriously consider anything with Alan Moore's name on it.
