The Festival organization benefits the Bay Area Museum, college scholarships, area libraries, cultural arts groups, Bay Area Turning Point, Interfaith Caring Ministries as well as many other non-profit groups in the Clear Lake and Bay Area.
For the 2009 year, LRF awarded $1000 to the Evelyn Meador Library in Seabrook to go toward the purchase of a mural for the new library building which will begin construction early in 2010. The Freeman Branch Library in Clear Lake also received $500 for the purchase of new copies of classic children’s picture books.
Thank you Lunar Rendezvous for your steadfast efforts to make the Galveston Bay Area a great place to work, play, and live!
