Do you know this history of the MKT? The railroad has always been a huge part of the history of the Katy area. In honor of our summer reading club theme, we have a real treat for all. We will end our adult summer reading club programs with a visit from the Katy Heritage Society. They will be here this Tuesday night at 7 PM to discuss the history and impact of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad on the area. Come learn all about our prairie’s early history. No registration is required and everyone is welcome. For more information here is a book [2]you can check out all about this history; and, of course, check out our calendar [3]for more cool programs we offer throughout the month.
