Celebrating Library Card Sign Up Month

Because September is Library Card Sign Up Month, we read Beverly Billingsly Borrows a Book [1]by Alexander Stadler during Preschool Storytime [2]. In the story, Beverly signs up for her very own library card and checks out a great book on dinosaurs. I don't want to ruin the story so you'll have to check her book out yourself!

For our craft we made library card holders with our names on them and threaded the neck string with beads.

Preschool Storytime [2] is every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room. For more information, contact Mr. Victor, the children's librarian, at 713-466-4438.
