Speculative Fiction titles published in late 2009 and 2010 that circulated the most in the Harris County Public Library system will probably seem pretty familiar--at least in authors and worlds. By the way Shades of Milk and Honey [12] by Mary Robinette Kowal won the "What should I read next?" survey. Magical talents are blended into the social requirements of Regency England, an additional accomplishment for the classes to attain and admire in each other. Austen fans will find much familiar in the plot, but Kowal brings her own sensibilities in the writing style.
