Geoff Akins, of Bubble Wonders, will perform at Evelyn Meador Library in
Seabrook on Tuesday, January 31 at 6 p.m. Akins calls himself a
"bubbleologist," making a life by making bubbles. He is a former special
education teacher who was inspired by an autistic child whose attention he
captured by blowing bubbles.
Not only does Akins entertain children, he is also a motivational speaker
for them, incorporating life lessons into his performances. By challenging
them with his bubble creations, he encourages them that "anything is
possible," "there is always a way," and that they should pursue their
dreams. He has been likened to a modern day Johnny Appleseed, using bubbles
instead of appleseed and children's souls instead of earth.
Akins performance is free and open to the public. Please join us for a
fun-filled, inspiring performance.
