The following computer classes will be offered in August.
Keyboarding Basics – presented on August 6th, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. This class introduces a first time user to the keyboard and its multiple uses through various Windows programs.
Speed Typing - presented on August 8th, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. This class offers instruction and practice on proper typing techniques. Class is based on websites that may be used from home to practice.
Internet Basics I and II – presented on August 20th and 22nd, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Internet Basics I and II covers how the Internet works, how to use a search engine, and performing various tasks using Internet software. Internet Security will be covered in the second session.
To register for classes you may either stop by the reference desk or phone the library at 281-484-2036 and one of the librarians will sign you up for the classes, or you can register yourself by going to the events calendar.
