"Let Them Eat Cake!"

 Every time you bake a cake do you wish you could decorate it like the pros with pretty boarders and swirls?  Next Tuesday, August 12th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm we will be learning basic cake decorating.

Teen Program: End of Summer LOCKIN! Friday, August 8th

Friday, August 8th there will be another TEEN LOCKIN!  Teens will get to spend time after hours in the library; we’ll have pizza, video games, giveaways, crafts, and snacks!  Permission slips are REQUIRED to attend this program.  You can get a permission slip in the Teen Area any time prior to the program, or fill one out the day of. 

Bleached T-Shirts: Tues. July 1 @ 3pm

TEEN PROGRAMS: Dino Planters and Anime Afternoon

Next week we have two programs for teens and tweens ages 12-18 or those entering the 6-12 grade in the fall.  Tuesday, June 24th at 3pm, we’ll be making Dino Planters.  Use paint, sharpies, gems, and other supplies to dec out your new dinosaur shaped planter before filling it with dirt and seeds.

Teen Craftastic: Mardi Gras Masks

No need to go to New Orleans, celebrate Mardi Gras right here.  On Tuesday, March 4th @ 4:30pm, we will be making Mardi Gras masks in the Teen Area of the Kingwood Library.  This program is for teens and tweens ages 12-18 or in grades 6-12.  All materials are generously provided by FOLK; supplies are limited.  For more information, contact Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804.
