Toni Morrison [2] (born Chloe Anthony Wofford on February 18, 1931) is a Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Prize-winning American novelist, editor, and professor. Her novels are known for their epic themes and vivid dialogue. Among her best known novels are The Bluest Eye [3], Song of Solomon [4] and Beloved [5]. I highly encourage to read one of her books if you haven't already.
