In honor of Read Across America Day [2] on Wednesday, March 2nd, some of our favorite characters from Main Street Theater [3] will visit five library locations after school and share their stories. There's Madeline, the French schoolgirl, Moose, the hungry guest from If You Give a Moose a Muffin [4], Drover, Hank the Cowdog's loyal sidekick, Farmer Alfalfa, the corn growing goat from Busytown, and our favorite Herdman from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever [5], young Gladys Herdman.
