Don’t miss the 2nd annual Teen Book Con [5]this Saturday, April 9! It’s on the west side of Houston at Alief-Taylor High School [6]from 9 am to 4 pm, with Deb Caletti’s [7]keynote speech beginning at 10am. Just a few of the authors coming are Lauren Myracle [8], Ellen Hopkins [9], R.A. Nelson [10], Rachel Hawkins [11], Joy Preble [12], and more!! You must purchase one book at the festival to go through the signing line, and the Blue Willow Bookshop [13]will be there all day for your purchasing needs. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or you can buy pizza at the Con; there will also be some teen musicians playing in between sessions. To help you get ready we have a display in the YA area at the Maud Marks Library of some of the authors' books.
