About The Strategic Plan
"In 2023, Commissioners Court embarked on the development of a five-year strategic plan to clearly communicate Harris County’s direction to residents, stakeholders, and employees. Commissioners Court approved a strategic framework on April 23, 2024, and the full plan on October 29th, 2024. In addition to serving as a communications tool, the plan’s purpose is to increase alignment between the County budget and Commissioners Court’s priorities and to better guide the work of County departments and partners."
