Kudos to HCPL staff
We want to take a moment to offer our heartfelt gratitude to all HCPL team members who stepped up last week and throughout the weekend to ensure that all the libraries that could be opened were open. Many of the folks working the libraries are struggling, along with thousands of other area residents, with power outages, storm damage, and other issues in the wake of Hurricane Beryl. Your dedication to helping Harris County residents in good times and tough times is amazing.
HCPL knows this has been a very trying time for area residents. We thank you all for your support of the library and for your patience as we worked to restore our libraries to full working capacity. Your strength and good-heartedness throughout Beryl and its aftermath have inspired us.
