Public Information Requests

Requests for public information must be submitted in writing via mail, online form, email, or in-person to Harris County Public Library for public information maintained by the library. Requests for information maintained by other Harris County departments or offices should be submitted directly to the particular department or office.

Each written request must include

  • Detailed description of the information you are requesting.
  • contact name(s)
  • phone number(s),
  • email address,
  • Please indicate the best way for us to contact you.
