Map
This 12,000 square foot branch has a staff of 11. The branch delivers services to approximately 70,000 people in the Atascocita area and presents seven storytimes each week, as well as a variety of programs for children, teens, and adults.
Construction began on Atascocita Branch Library in 1994. It opened to the public on May 5, 1996. The library's beginnings can be traced to 1986, when the Atascocita Hi Neighbor group, led by Odell Dreyer, initiated a decade-long project to have a library built in the developing Atascocita subdivision. This group of volunteers eventually became the Friends of the Atascocita Library (FOAL).
