As promised, we have the first in a series of digital stories created by the teens of the Aldine Branch. The kids should be given much kudos for their hard work. They have taken time out of their busy schedules to flex their creative muscles for the community and it has paid off. Enjoy this first submission by Johana as we follow a very special trip down memory lane.

We have made a change at the Aldine Library. The study carrels that once housed the computers in the middle of the library have been removed. In their place we now have a set of long tables set back to back. The other set of study carrels opposite the encyclopedias in the children's section will also be removed in the near future and replaced with tables. These changes allow for more computers.
The children's section at Aldine has an addition- a new, wooden playset!. The set consists of pieces that, when put together, form a circle. Come by and take a look. Let your child explore and play today.
Previously, we shared that teens at the Aldine Branch Library were hard at work on their digital storytelling projects. Their efforts have really paid off and soon they will be ready to share their pieces. The first in the series is expected to be posted in the next couple weeks, so make sure you come back to checkout some really great stories.
