Get set for Halloween this week by attending one of the Katy Branch Library storytimes featuring pumpkins.  Stories, such as The Plumply, Dumply Pumpkin by Mary Serfozo will get you in the mood for some pumpkin carving.                   

The Week @ the Katy Library – October 5th Edition

Do you speak Spanish? Our monthly Hispanic book club (Club Hispano de Libros) meets this Wednesday, 10/7, at 6:00pm. This month’s book selection is La Ultima Lección by Randy Pausch.  

Our weekly programs are going strong: knitting, storytimes, internet tutoring, teen room….. Come & see!

You've been viewing the art, now come enjoy the dancing at our Hispanic Heritage Celebration, this Saturday, October 3, from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. 

 

IF YOU GIVE A KID A PINATA, . . .

. . . that kid is sure to have fun! Join us Saturday as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Watch some awesome dancers and then make a pinata. Pinata making will begin around 2:00 pm. See you there!

The Week @ the Katy Library – September 28th Edition

The highlight of the week: our annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Come by on Saturday, 10/3, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and help us celebrate with dance, food, and art.  

Also on the 3rd at 10:30am is our monthly Mystery Book Club. This month we’re reading Close to Home by Peter Robinson.
