Gluten-Free Cooking for the Holidays

Are you or one of your family members one of the many who have to avoid gluten in your diet?  Do you need recipe ideas that would still make dining during the holidays an enjoyable and tasty experience?  If so, then don't miss the special program "Gluten-Free Cooking for the Holidays," planned especially for you and presented by one of our own Kingwood residents this Thursday, November 11th, in the Community Room at 10:30 AM.  No registration is required.  Don't miss this free and informative program!

"Marvelous Monday" Craft

For this "Marvelous Monday"  November 8 after school craft, we will be making indian corn pins or magnets for the Thanksgiving Season.  It will be a 4 pm in the Children's Activity Room and is best for school age kids.

Zumbatomic: Thursday, November 4 at 4 pm

What is ZoombAtomic?  It's an energetic fitness movement with a fun beat for kids 4-12.

It's the first Thursday of the month at 4 pm in the Meeting Room. 

Health Information at the Library

Do you struggle to find reliable medical and health information online?  If so, then be sure to register for a special class here at the library in the Training Lab on Tuesday, November 16th, at 10:30 AM.  Shannon Basher, a guest presenter and medical librarian for the Texas Medical Center Library in Houston, will offer her expertise on how to navigate and select the best health info out there on the world wide web.  Space is limited, so call or visit the library to register.
