Candy Sushi for Teens!

candy sushiDid you know that May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month? Come celebrate with sushi! Candy sushi, that is. We will be making delicious (if slightly funny looking) sushi out of candy. Make some to share, or eat it all yourself!

This program is for teens ages 12 to 18. Meet in the first floor Meeting Room (L129) on Tuesday, May 11 from 4:00-5:00pm.

Display Your Collection @ Tomball!

display caseEach month, the glass display case (located by the stairs on the second floor of the library) gets a makeover. Library and college staff members, as well as generous community members, have created stunning displays over such diverse subjects as Star Wars memorabilia, antique dolls, hand-painted porcelain, Renaissance weaponry, and artifacts from India. There are still a few days to stop by and see this month’s display, which features cameras and other photography paraphernalia through the decades.

We are currently looking for unique collections to fill the display case during the summer and fall months. If you would be interested in displaying a collection of items or have any questions, please contact the library at 832-559-4211.

Jonathan’s current book, The Ranks of Jody Brae, is part of a series with the sequel, Tommy’s Rock, soon to be published.
