New Computer Classes

computer keyboardThe Tomball Library will be offering two special computer classes this month. Travel Tips and Tricks on the Web will be on Tuesday July 13th at 1:00pm and will cover web based resources for travel planning. On Monday July 19th at 9:00am, we will offer Introduction to Social Networking. This class will be a basic introduction to social networking sites, such as Facebook. Just Dance for Teens

kids dancingThe Summer Reading Program is half over! Have you registered yet? If you have read anything this summer – seriously, anything at all - sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Program and log your reading activity. Teens who finish 5 books or 600 minutes by August 7th get a prize. You don’t want to miss out!

While you’re reading, don’t forget the weekly Tuesday activities for teens! Next Tuesday come to the library and play Just Dance for the Nintendo Wii. Bring your friends and show off your dance moves. Meet in the first floor Meeting Room on Tuesday, July 13th from 3:00-4:30 pm.

What's in Your Garden? Join Us Thursday for A Gardening Program!

Gardening Program for Kids

Join us at the LSC-Tomball Community Library in the Children's Department to learn about gardening.  A Master Gardener from Harris County will share information about plants and critters in your garden. Learn how to start your own garden that will attract birds and butterflies. The program begins at 3 pm this Thursday, July 8th.

Oscar the Grouch and RecyclingLooking for something fun to do next week? Grab your friends and come craft things out of recycled materials!
