This past summer, Tomball Library hosted a teen writing contest in conjunction with the Barbara Bush Branch Library. Teens were invited to enter in four categories: poetry and short story for younger and older teens. Judges were thrilled at the number of well-crafted and imaginative entries in all categories. Winners were announced at a reception held at the Tomball Library for the participants and their family and friends. Congratulations to all who participated and to the winners!

Did you see us? We were there to see you.On August 7, your Tomball Library made its first appearance at Tomball Night. We want everyone in the community to know they have a great library in Tomball.

That night alone we meet with over 175 adults and over 160 children. It was so much fun. Back to school packets and stickers were handed out. We also advertised our upcoming children’s program called the Choo Choo Club. Watch for it soon.We really enjoyed interacting with our community. Be sure to tell your friends about us.
