Experience a taste of Mexico! El Dia de los Muertos is a centuries old tradition in Mexico. Adults, teens and children are all invited to view our colorful displays, work on some crafts, and taste some traditional foods. Come join the fun!

Harris County Homeowner Disaster Recovery Program

The Harris County Homeowner Disaster Recovery Program (HDRP) is a voluntary program to assist homeowners who reside in Harris County but outside the City of Houston, whose homes were affected by Hurricane Ike by providing financial assistance to repair damage and when necessary reconstruct home.

Discover Your Roots: A Genealogy Workshop

Wow your family at those upcoming holiday gatherings this year by bringing a carefully researched family tree.  On Saturday, October 17, genealogist Lynna Kay Shuffield will show you how to do basic genealogy research, newspaper research, database and records research, and more.  The workshop will be held in the Computer Lab Room L216 starting at 10:15 a.m.  Registration is required as space is limited.  Call 832-559-4213 to sign up. 



Join the Texas Bluebonnet Book Club @ Tomball Library

The Texas Blubeonnet Book Club is for 3rd-5th graders and will meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 1 pm until 2 pm. Register now for the Club, which is limited to 15. The Club meets each Thursday, Sept. 21st through January 18th. Culminating with voting for the 2009-2010 Bluebonnet Award winner, Club activities will include reading, discussions, puzzles, games, crafts and snacks.
