Scratch Art Fun at the Library!

All generations love coming to the library! Grandfather and grandson have fun creating beautiful scratch art at the Summer Reading Club activity day on Tuesday, July 28th.

It is not too late to complete reading your ten books to earn a free book of your choice. But don't wait too long! The Summer Reading Program ends on August 8th. Just one week left!

Summer Fun Continues

Jean Kuecher's Marionette Playhouse presented an exciting show of Rumpelstitskin. The princess agrees to the wicked elf's demand to change straw to gold, but in the end, the princess wins.

On Tuesday, July 28 at 10:30 am we will have a storytime and craft making designs with scratch art. On Thursday, July 30 at 10:30 am, Texas Parks & Wildlife, Sheldon State Park will talk about Texas animals with a program called Skins and Skulls! Join us for these fun programs.

More Summer Reading Programs

Summer programs continue to be great! We have had stinky sharks and rays from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. Always a great hit with the kids.

The Omni Yoga Center came and stretched, balanced and relaxed everyone.

Tomorrow at 10:30 am, there is a marionette performance of Rumpelstiltskin. Always great fun.

Summer Reading Programs @ the Library

We have had a wonderful first half of summer reading program. The ferrets came to visit and were fun. Claude Sims juggled and entertained. Happy the Clown performed magic.
