Hiking around Houston - LIFE Workshop.  From the Piney Woods to the Gulf Coast prairies and marshes, the Houston rea has a variety of hiking trails for hikers of all experience levels. Put your hiking shoes on and join librarian Tracy Williams on a virtual tour of the Houston-area hiking hotspots.  Wednesday, November 4, 10-11am, LRNC 131.

A Little Night Music in the Morning - LIFE Workshop

Alex Qian, LSC-CyFair Artistic Director of Choral Programs, will provide information and a sampling of his upcoming opera, The Marriage of Figaro which opens on November 5 at Lone Star College-CyFair in the Center for the Arts Recital Hall 102.  Wednesday, 10/28, 10-11am.

Creepy Crawlies This Weekend

All sorts of Creepy Crawly Creatures will be visiting our library this Saturday just in time for Halloween.  Saltgrass Science will be here at 2pm presenting a Spider program for us.  Come learn about the different spiders that live here in Texas.  So come join us for this spectacularly, spooky program.  This program is limited to 40 children ages 4-12.  Tickets will be available 1 hour prior to the program.
