Fall Festival Fun

It's time once again for the Freeman Fall Festival at the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library. This year the event will kick off at 6:00 on Thursday, October 29 and continue until 7:30. There will be face painting, a craft, balloon animals, games to play, and a toddler open gym area. The whole family can put on their favorite Halloween costumes and join in the fun as we line up for costume parades and tour the library in search of yummy treats to eat.

Shakespeare Cross-Examined

Have you ever wondered if Romeo and Juliet was really written by that gentleman of Stratford-upon-Avon that we all know and love?  Is your knowlege of the matter limited to what you learned from Shakespeare in Love and your high school or college English Literature classes?  Join us this Friday, 10/23/09 at 10:30 a.m.
