NASA at the Aldine Library!

Hey everyone! The Summer Reading Program is now underway. We have some exciting programs scheduled. On Monday, June 9th from 1-3 PM, the folks from NASA will be at the Aldine Library to talk to tweens and teens about life on a space station. Come see if you have the right stuff to be an astronaut! On Wednesday, June 9th at 3 PM, NASA will return to speak with children about life in space. Join us for these exciting events! Also, while you are here at the library, stop by and take a look at the model of the International Space Station on loan to us from NASA.

Zombies!

Do you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse? Let's find out? We'll test our strategy and running for our life skills in the first part of the program. Then we'll head next door to the park for a competition between the zombies and the survivors! Who will win? Come and check it out on  Monday, June 2 at 3 pm.

 

Summer Fun for Everyone @ Aldine

  is just around the corner; it's time once again for the Summer Reading Program! It all kicks off on Monday, June 2nd. There are four reading programs and a bunch of fun activities for kids and teens.

Storygami @ Aldine

There was a celebration on the night of Monday, May 19th at the Aldine Library. Families gathered together for "Storygami" in honor of Asian Pacific Heritage Month. Parents and children enjoyed learning about origami and creating different animals by folding paper. It was a fun-filled evening for everyone. 

 

Tea: the Golden Treasure

May is Asian Pacific Heritage Month! We're celebrating at the Aldine LIbrary by gathering in the Meeting Room on 5/15 at 3:30 PM to watch a movie about about the importance of tea in the life and culture of Taiwan. Afterwards, we will enjoy drinking a pot tea and having some snacks. Come join us!
