For the Children: An Early Literacy Program for Families

In partnership with the Children's Museum of Houston, the Atascocita Branch Library is proud to present “For the Children,” a program based on Para Los Niños. Come join the fun as we share books and hand on activities that encourage early literacy skills.

Our next program will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 1:30 pm.  Each family that completes a short survey of the program will earn an admission pass to the Children's Museum for up to four people. For a list of additional programs please see the schedule below.

A Year of Fun

The Summer Reading Program may be over but the Atascocita Branch Library has fun activities for families all year long.  You can find a list of programs on our Branch Calendar.

This Thursday, August 12th, our very talented Children's Librarian, Ms Susan, will be sharing a few of her favorite underwater stories.  Children will make a fun handprint craft after the program.
