Jenkins Elementary School wins once again!

Once again, Jenkins Elementary School has won the drawing on December 16th for our educational box tops.  Two brothers, Elijah (3rd grade) and Judah (1st grade) shared the 583 box tops that were collected during this time period.  The Friends of the Baldwin Boettcher Library also donated juice boxes and popcorn so the classes could have a popcorn party to celebrate their success.

If you want to help your community, this is an easy way to do it.  Just cut out the box tops you see on various products and bring them into the Baldwin Boettcher Library.  We are now taking nominations of schools to be entered in our next drawing on March 16, 2014.  The lucky school will receive all the box tops brought into the library from now until March 16th.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Library Staff at Baldwin Boettcher

As Branch Librarian, I would like to thank all of our patrons for using our library services.  This goes for the loyal customers, new customers and hopefully customers looking for a library to enjoy.   This past year the library has seen alot of changes and if you know my staff and I, you will experience more in the future.

We have added 8 new computers for public use.  This means our booking station is not being used as often; as we usually have one computer open when you walk in the door.  We are, however, having trouble with Internet Explorer so we are encouraging everyone to use the Chrome button.  Need advice? help?  Ask us.

The staff at Baldwin Boettcher and myself wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and time with your family.  Whether you are traveling or staying home, be safe.  We look forward to seeing you on Dec 2nd.  We will resume normal hours starting then.
